On a scale of one to ten, how weird was my biological father? He pronounced Adidas like "Oddy daws"
Okay, I googled this. Apparently, I didn't know that Adidas is a European brand, and the founder, Adolf Dassler, was nicknamed "Adi", and Das is a shortened form of his last name, so Adi Das makes perfect sense, and it's quite possible that my biological father was just as pedantic as I am about some things if he knew this fact.
And yes, I realize I would have inherited that from him, and not the reverse, but I don't know who has it worse, since I never really knew him, since he was kind of ejected from our lives when it was looking like my mom would have to take care of him full time in addition to kids.
